It was Vocalion Records that introduced coloured vinyls to the world in 1910. In the late 70's, a multitude of different colours flooded the market. In addition to this wide colour palette, transparent records were soon introduced. One of the best-known examples of such a record was 'The Invisible Man' by Queen. Another interesting example: 'Strawberry Letter 23' by The Brothers Johnson (released by A&M Records in 1977) was not only dyed red but also strawberry scented. (What a great idea :-) )

Coloured records offered by Vinylrecord.pl are created from a special mixture of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and carefully selected dyes. This is identical to the basic black vinyl in terms of quality and noise levels. It is still perfect. How is that even possible? We don't know. Our overseas provider is a master at his own craft. Thank you Tom.
