7" SINGLE

The most common type of vinyl is referred to as a '45' or '7'. The names come from the speed of 45 RPM and the standard 7-inch (18 cm) diameter - the exact size offered by Vinylrecord.pl. Due to their size, 7-inch records offer limited capacity. They are, therefore, most commonly used for single songs. A 7" single can be recorded at the speed of 45 RPM (about 4,5 minutes of music on each side) or 33 RPM (about 7 minutes per side). Available colours include standard black records or transparent ones. 7" covers are manufactured using the same high-quality type of cardboard used for the 10' and 12' versions.
